The Evergreen Rodeo takes place in the beautiful mountain community of Evergreen, Colorado, every summer on Father’s Day weekend. Members of the all-volunteer Evergreen Rodeo Association work year-round to ensure that our rodeo is one of the best.
Our Rodeo Weekend includes a fabulous Saturday morning parade through downtown Evergreen, an evening rodeo performance on Saturday and an afternoon performance on Sunday. Come celebrate our western heritage and join this Colorado mountain tradition.
The Evergreen Rodeo Association offers its rodeo grounds for responsible use by community groups and other non-profit organizations as a community service. If your organization is interested in reserving the grounds, please complete and submit the “Grounds Use Request” form under the All Forms Tab. All scheduling, and each use of the grounds, must be approved in advance by the Evergreen Rodeo Association Board of Directors.
Held in the big tent at the rodeo grounds.
$25 admission includes VIP parking, music and one complimentary beverage.
Food will be available. For purchase from Bistro Del Lago catering.

Rapidgrass is an American bluegrass band founded in Golden, Colorado in 2012. Although they are widely considered a bluegrass band, their genre of music can best be described as "rapidgrass" due to its furious pace and its wide range of influences including gypsy jazz, bluegrass, swing and classical music.

The signature Evergreen RODEO combines professional competition, western heritage, and mountain community spirit in an unforgettable display of cowboy culture and skill.

The Evergreen Rodeo is saddling up for a brand-new adventure that promises to be the highlight of this year’s festivities - our inaugural Stick Horse Race for the littlest wranglers in town! We believe in cultivating the next generation of rodeo enthusiasts right from the get-go. Our pint-sized cowboys and cowgirls ages 3+ will have their moment in the spotlight as they gallop across the arena on their trusty stick steeds, experiencing the thrill of the rodeo firsthand.
This year’s parade begins promptly at 10:00 A.M., winding through the heart of Evergreen and concluding around 12:30 P.M. at the intersection of Meadow Drive and SH 74. All participants should arrive at the Troutdale Scenic Drive staging area between 8:00-9:00 A.M. with their assigned staging number
For years, the Evergreen Rodeo has brought our community together to celebrate western heritage in our mountain town. What began as practical gatherings where ranchers would help each other brand and sort cattle has evolved into the beloved tradition you enjoy today. Behind every bucking bronc and every perfectly executed roping run stands a dedicated team of volunteers and organizers who pour their hearts into preserving this slice of authentic western culture.

The Evergreen Rodeo Association is a 100% volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which sponsors the Evergreen Rodeo, a sanctioned event of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). As such, the association is held to strict accountability for the quality of the rodeo and facilities, treatment of all stock involved, and for a fully professional rodeo performance.
