PARADE INFORMATION FOR
EVERGREEN RODEO
The road through downtown Evergreen will be closed from 9:30 A.M. until the last float has made its way through the entire parade route. On-street parking downtown will not be available until after the parade, so please allow ample time to walk to the parade route. Carpooling is recommended.
No vehicles will be allowed to leave the downtown area until the CSP and Sheriff have given the all clear and re-opened highways 73 & 74. There will absolutely be no exceptions. The downtown merchants will have entertainment and merchandise sales until the roads are open, which is expected by 1:00 P.M.
DOWNTOWN EVERGREEN DETOUR: Meadow Drive is open to traffic in both directions, between Evergreen Parkway and Main Street (CO 74).
UPPER BEAR CREEK DETOUR: Road Closure at Upper Bear Creek at Lakepoint Center. Detour is from Evergreen Parkway on Stagecoach Drive to Greystone Road to Witter Gulch Road and Upper Bear Creek Road. This detour will NOT get you through downtown Evergreen. It WILL get you to the Evergreen Golf Course, the Lake House and Lakepoint Center.
Barricades will be in place at Upper Bear Creek Rd., Douglas Park Rd. at Main Street, Forest Hill Rd. at Main Street, South Independence Trail at Main Street.
HIGHWAY 73/EVERGREEN MAIN STREET DETOUR (passenger cars only):
Northbound from Hwy. 73 just past the Buffalo Park Rd. light:
Little Cub Creek to Stanley Park to High Drive to North Turkey creek to 285 N, then Parmalee Gulch through Indian Hills to Hwy 74
Hwy 74 from Kittridge or Meadow Dr. at the Transfiguration Church:
Hwy 74 to Parmalee Gulch to 285 to N Turkey Creek rd up to hwy 73.
NOTE: No big rigs or large trucks/vehicles are able to access the Highway 73/Evergreen Main Street detour, only passenger cars.

Handicapped parking is available on the grounds.
All seating is General Admission. Many people bring blankets and sit on the hill above the bleachers.
The Rodeo is a rain or shine event. Be prepared for our ever-changing Colorado weather.
NO PETS, NO COOLERS, NO REFUNDS. (No kidding!)
Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the rodeo grounds.
