The road through downtown Evergreen will be closed from 9:30 until the last float has made its way through the entire parade route. On-street parking downtown will not be available until after the parade. Please allow ample time to walk to the parade route and to make a leisurely exit. Car pooling is recommended.

Other than walking out of downtown after the parade, no vehicles will be allowed to leave the downtown area until the CSP and Sheriff have given the all clear and have opened highways 73 & 74. There will absolutely be no exceptions.  The downtown merchants will have entertainment and merchandise sales until the roads are open, which is expected by 1:00 pm.  Then, head on over to the Rodeo Grounds and visit our vendors - save your appetite for delicious turkey legs, foot-long hot dogs, BBQ, healthy wraps, funnel cakes, ice cream and more

DETOURS:  If you need to get around downtown Evergreen during the Parade, here are some suggestions.  Otherwise, stop and enjoy the Parade!

DOWNTOWN EVERGREEN DETOUR: Evergreen Parkway and CO 74 from Douglas Park Road to the light and through town to the intersection with Meadow Drive. Detour bypasses downtown Evergreen on Douglas Park Road and Meadow Drive.

UPPER BEAR CREEK DETOUR: Upper Bear Creek at Lakepoint Plaza. Detour is from Evergreen Parkway on Stagecoach Drive to Witter Gulch and Upper Bear Creek Road.  This detour will NOT get you through downtown Evergreen.  It WILL get you to the Evergreen Golf Course and the Lakehouse.

HIGHWAY 73 DETOUR: Eastbound from Hwy. 73 just west of Buffalo Park Rd. light: Camel Heights Rd. to Little Cub Creek to Mountain Park Rd., then Trinchera Trail and Independence Tral to the east end of Evergreen, Hwy. 73 - to Kittridge/Morrison, Hwy. 285, E470. Westbound from Hwy. 73 and Meadow Dr. at the Transfiguration Church: Independence Trail to Trinchera Trail, then Mountain Park Rd. to Little Cub Creek to Camel Heights Rd. to the west end of Evergreen, Hwy. 73 - to Conifer, Turkey Creek Rd., Hwy, 285.  NOTE: No big rigs or large trucks/vehicles are to access this detour, only passenger cars.

Long Live Evergreen Rodeo!
